FRIDAY CLOSE AS SCORELUCKY WINNER AS GENIUSNOVELIST MIND
COLUMN A ADHERENCECOLUMN B IS RVERSION NOT MEMOIR

Review Without Rewriting History

Hindsight turns every exit into a missed fortune. A useful review compares the decision to the rules that existed at the time — not to Friday’s close.

The mind is a gifted novelist. After the fact it can explain any path as inevitable. That talent is fatal to improvement because it erases the information you actually had at the click.

SCUTA’s review standard is chronological honesty. What did the playbook say? What did you do? What did the market do later is a separate paragraph, labeled as such.

Two columns

Column A: in-playbook or not. Column B: R. Never let B edit A. A rule-breaking winner stays in the failure pile for process. A rule-following loser stays in the success pile for process.

The documented-results promise

This is what SCUTA means by verifiable work. Not a public performance of genius — a record that could be checked. The academy, the tools, and the journal are built so that record is normal rather than heroic.

Close the loop

Pick at most one change for the next week. If everything is always being rewritten, you never have a sample. The shield includes protecting the method from constant renovation.

Questions we hear next

Should I look at what price did after I exited?

You may, once, to study management options. Do not score the original decision with information you did not have.

What belongs in a weekly review?

Adherence rate, R distribution, rail proximity, and one process change or none. Not a memoir.

How do I handle a lucky winner?

Tag it. Lucky winners that break rules are still process failures. They are how bad habits get funded.

Can I review with screenshots only?

Screenshots without the planned invalidation are souvenirs. Include the page version and the checklist score.
