Uptrend

A market structure defined by a sequence of higher highs and higher lows, signalling persistent buying pressure.

In an uptrend, each rally peak clears the previous one (higher high) and each pullback bottoms above the prior low (higher low). This staircase structure is the clearest evidence that buyers are in control.

Trading with an uptrend means buying pullbacks to support or trendlines and avoiding shorts against the prevailing bid. The structure breaks when price makes the first significant lower low — that's the signal to reassess, not to assume continuation blindly.
